About this app

A small overview of current features:

- free, no ads
- you can choose more than one location on your device with your audiobooks
- an algorithm will detect your audiobooks on your internal or external storage. Even subfolders like cd1, cd2 are no problem for auboo
- popular audio formats like .mp3, .flac, .ogg, .wav, … are supported
- if there is an image in your audiobook folder, it will be used as cover art and for design purposes (blurred background etc.)
- Sleeptimer with individual time values
- your audiobook-progress position is saved for each audiobook
- hearing-progress position is saved in a very small file in your audiobook folder. if you remove auboo and reinstall it, your progress information for each audiobook will be preserved
- two progress bars. one progress bar visualizes your progress in the audiobook and the other progressbar shows your progress in the current audiofile

So easy! Few permissions! Remembers our bookmarks. Fades out quietly for sleep timer. Handles lots of books and audio directories. Doesn't need much space. Two minor drawbacks: no speed options and autoplays without us selecting it when Bluetooth is initiated in the car. Still, this is the best. No ads! Free! Great little app!

At first, I thought that I had found a great audio book player. I loved the look and it was easy to navigate around. But then I realized that it forgets which book you were reading and your place in it. So this, unfortunately, makes the app unusable. Edit - The creators of the app seem to have fixed the problem. So now this is an excellent app that I will start using again.

Attractive, minimal, no permissions, excellent. No ads, free, performs very well, easy to use. Updates library well. No forgetting the bookmarks for us ever. Does not seem to have playback speed adjustment. That will make it 5-stars.

What's new

Basic adjustments for new Android versions.
There are issues with Android 11+ devices, which will be fixed in subsequent updates.
