What is BHIM?

BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) is a UPI enabled initiative to facilitate safe, easy & instant digital payments through your mobile phone.

Requirements:

Before you register on the app, please ensure the following:

You have linked your Mobile Number with your Bank Account and the same is used for accessing BHIM.

Your phone should have an active SIM linked to your Bank Account.

In case of Dual SIM, kindly ensure that you’ve selected the SIM card linked to your Bank Account.

You have a valid Debit Card for your Bank Account. This is required to generate UPI PIN.

Couple of months ago, the app was not working. I uninstalled it and subsequently reinstalled the same. Verification of sim completed and registration has started. But the app fails to fetch the sms, sent on my registered mobile number. I tried several times. Necessary permissions have already been provided. Complaints have been lodged three times through 'Get in touch'. But the results were same. I have been facing much inconvenience since couple of months. Please fix the issue at an earliest.

I am not able to degister the application. I'm not able to delete UPI lite X. It's showing an error called UL4 and it says UPI lite X deregistration failed. Even though I have reinstalled the app, the same error occurs. I don't know what to do. I have even raised the issue in your website. I tried calling customer care but no reply. A little help here would be great.

This is a really stupid app. Many times takes 2 to 3 attempts for transaction success. Last weekend i was at a restaurant, when after multiple attempts payment was not successful. Even today same issue Shame on you NPCI 10/06/2024 After latest update, unable to use the app. It asked me re-register and sent SMS. As I got flash msg from operator about message balance, the registration failed. Useless
