Gender violence is a widespread phenomenon that remains, even today, largely hidden. The numbers, in this regard, are particularly eloquent: more than 6 million women in Italy suffer violence every year (Istat, 2015; 2018). From the data produced as part of a 2014 Istat survey, it emerges that in Abruzzo 33.5% of women aged between 16 and 70 declared having suffered violence during their lives (Istat, 2014). For this reason, the Mete app is proposed as a tool for disseminating anti-violence culture, providing young people with a means of support, sharing experiences, and useful numbers that can raise young people's awareness of the issue.
