■ If My Number Card cannot be read
Please try reading with the following steps.
1. Check your smartphone settings
Turn on Felica (Osaifu-Keitai) or NFC function. Please turn off airplane mode. Please stop charging.
2. Remove the smartphone case and cables
Remove cables such as earphones and chargers.
3. Find the NFC mark or Felica mark on the back of your smartphone
If you cannot find the NFC mark or Felica mark, check the reading position from "Card reading position by model (source: Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications)".

4. Place the My Number Card on the desk with the photo side up
Place it on a non-metal desk.

5. Align your My Number Card with your smartphone
Align the NFC mark and Felica mark on the back of the smartphone exactly in the center of the My Number card. If there is a gap between the My Number Card and the smartphone, or if the smartphone is moved, it cannot be read.
6. Reading completed in 20 to 30 seconds
If the position of the My Number Card moves even slightly, reading may stop halfway. Please reposition your My Number Card or try scanning again.
