[What is the FP Skills Test (excerpt from the official website)]

■What is the FP skill test?
The Financial Planning Skills Test (hereinafter referred to as the FP Skills Test) is a national test conducted by the Japan Financial Planning Association, which is designated by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare as a designated testing organization based on the provisions of Article 47, Paragraph 1 of the Vocational Ability Development Promotion Act.

There are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades of the FP Skills Test, and each has a written exam and a practical exam.
The written exam and the practical exam will be held on the same day, and you can take both exams.
The Japan FP Association's written exam is only for 2nd and 3rd grade, there is no 1st grade test, and the subject of the practical exam is ``asset design proposal work'' for all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade exams.

If you pass both the written exam and the practical exam, you will be issued a certificate of passing, and you will be able to call yourself a ``Financial Planning Technician'' for each grade.

In addition, if you pass either the written test or the practical test, a partial pass certificate (and result notification) will be issued, and you can receive the passed test from the next time onwards only by "the end of the fiscal year following the day after the test you passed". Can be exempted.
