About this app

Sawmill Calculator Pro assists you with lumber and timber calculations.
It has three major features:
1. Generation of a list of cuts to make the desired boards accounting for blade kerf. As cuts are made, they can be checked off in the app.
2. Calculation of board feet where lists can be saved and emailed as a table. Hardwoods and softwoods are supported.
3. Calculation of log volume on the Doyle, Scribner, Internation 1/4", and ROY scales. Log volumes can be saved and emailed as a table.

Ratings and reviews

Concept is excellent for sawyers could use a few minor changes like: increasing the list for flitch sizes(dog board/cant) above 6 inches, allowing for multiple dog boards in a stack for example 2 3.5" cants then 1 1/8 boards above that. Also allow for board thicknesses in 1/16" increments instead of 1/8". These things aside it's been an excellent app

This app has potential but too many issues to use. Will not email for one.

Im a commercial sawyer i Like the app but the email button does nothing.
