Learn Eastern Armenian the easiest way through the AYOlingo app.

No matter your proficiency in the Armenian language, AYOlingo provides an easy and free learning experience for Armenian language learners.



The app currently has 30 modules, with 30 more to be released in the future. The app will help you learn Armenian and teach you:

- the basics of the Armenian language
- grammatical tenses
- animal names
- common phrases
- feeling expression
- numbers
- adjectives
- food
And much more.



The app also has a vocabulary section to help you look up the words in the Armenian language easier.

You can also follow your friends and see their progress in learning Armenian. Some friendly competition will, of course, help you learn more efficiently through our leaderboard.



The app teaches you Armenian through a variety of exercises:

• Fill in the blank in phrases

• Fill in the blank in the dialog

• Translate the phrases

• Translate the dialog

• Select the translation of the phrase

• Select the word in the picture

• Match the words

• Match the phrases

• Complete the phrases

• Practice pronunciation

• And much more...



There is also the option to Test Out of a module. If you feel like you're understanding a particular practice well enough, you can skip the lessons and AYOlingo will create a test for you. If you pass, then you're finished with the module! For those who want to challenge themselves, there is a Master Review. This takes the lessons in all of the modules and combines them with everything you've learned. Think of it like an Armenian language final exam.



The app currently doesn't teach the Armenian alphabet, but that feature will be added in the future.

Ratings and reviews

The experience was going well until I hit the area for "Feelings", the lessons are empty and I have even reloaded the app and yielded the same results. Often times, it states "Loading Lessons" and then shows me no lessons for the subject. If this app is incomplete, then I understand; if it is not, please fix this. Update: Thank you for your responsiveness and for fixing the app in a timely manner.

As someone part of the Armenian diaspora, I wanted to strengthen my language skills. I am using version 2.46, which the menu doesn't match to the images exactly. I want to support the developers, but I can't give a 5* rating as I expected this app to teach beginners, but the lessons are really quizzes. If you want to test your basic skills, this may work for you (easy so far for me), but if you're a beginner, this app will not teach you Armenian. Some minor bugs & I hope for future improvements.

Has helped me a lot and I have enjoyed. My wife is Armenian and I use it to learn more. Sadly sometimes the pronunciation button doesn't work for Armenian sentence or words, but the transliteration is pretty darn good. The only thing I would change or add is a way to do the lessons more in reverse (there is some, but no pronunciation for English sentences, and some English sentences are grammatically incorrect) so that Armenian speakers can learn English, like my in-laws. 5 ✨ in my book still!
