About this app

We’ve built a new app to support millions of customers whose accounts are already on our new system. 

Unsure if that is you? If your account number begins with an ‘A’ or 'BGX' then good news! You’ve already moved to our new system, so just log in and use the new app straight away.

If your account number begins with ‘85’ this means you’re still on our current system. We’ll let you know once you’ve moved over, so you can start using the new app.

There’s nothing you need to do, we’ll take care of everything.

You can still view your Energy and Home Services account on our website.

Very clunky, having to log in and out of separate gas and electricity accounts, even for dual fuel contracts. Info shown is more basic than it used to be. Within Usage section, for instance, it only shows current month, year, etc. Previous app allowed you to see your usage in comparison to last year. The usage data is fairly useless if you don't have anything to compare it too.

Hi David, I'm sorry to hear your experience with the app is not wholly positive. We are still working on getting historical usage migrated over from the old system. I'm sorry for the inconvenience at the moment. Kind regards, Paul

Moving forward us definitely not what your doing. The app is very basic, can't even see date of next bill or when a meter reading is due. Something so simple but you didn't bother, that's what I call going backwards not forwards. As for the rest of the features, there really isn't anything because majority of tasks are completed outside of the app and back on your website

Being generous giving it 1*. Gone from an app that works absolutely fine and shows daily and monthly usage, to having 2 separate accounts, that don't show my usage and require me to submit readings (I have a smart meter installed at the box so they can be ready automatically). Not sure what went through the head of whoever signed this off. Disappointing and a big factor when it comes to renewing (or not) my tariff..
