Limitations
Most apps allow to get recorded by AirMusic without additional steps!
However, some apps have restrictions:

• Amazon Music works until/before version 24.16.3 (07-09-2024)
• Some apps like Apple Music or PowerAmp are affected by a bug in Android 10/11 and require Android 12+
• A few like Spotify, Pandora or SoundCloud disallow to get recorded by others and require additional steps

the app lets you play music on devices connected over a wifi network. you can stream your favorite music to your Roku, Firestick, Macbook, it's a really convenient, inventful, and nice way of playing music over a speaker. also, the developers of this app are cool and helpful. no, I'm not a shill, I just genuinely appreciate this app.

Please keep maintaining AirMusic. This is the only app that plays to Apple AirPlay devices. I have to mute my phone so that the audio does not play from both devices. The dev let me know that rooting my phone will stop this from happening. Other than this small issue, AirMusic works perfectly! Using on Sony Xperia 1 V running Android 14, unrooted. Edit: Edited to fix a typo and to adjust my review using the developer's reply.

I've been using this application for years. It works and it has great customer support. Currently it's only one working application that allow to stream music via Airplay. In the past there were alternative applications, not anymore. Your android device should be rooted to use all features of the application. I tested it with different airplay speakers and found that some speakers have a poor quality airplay module, which causes errors and interruptions.
