The Equitable EZClaim app allows Equitable Life group benefits plan members to get faster refunds by submitting claims from their Android device. Simply sign-in to your Equitable account, complete the interactive form, take a picture of your receipt and submit. It’s that EZ!

Ratings and reviews

There are a lot of steps to complete claims. There should be a save feature for frequently used providers instead of searching each time. I also dislike that my coverage has to be opened in a website vs directly in the app. Update: Please find a way to save commonly use information i.e. providers as well as the information for other benefits holder (name and d.o.b -entering the DOB each time is actually horrendous as you need to select the year first most of the time if it is a late birthday)

Adding documents to a claim it ONLY gives me the option to upload a picture. I have the documents saved to my phone so I had to screen shot it which was way more difficult than just uploading the document itself. Terrible setup.

The questionarie is too long to submit a claim. My last provider just required a picture and click submit button. Also, You have enter your policy and certificate number every time you make a claim. The system needs a lot of improvement.
