Really great looking & sounding remake of the original but in color. Love the "touch to insert coin" nostalgia. But even the earliest of levels are impossibly hard because the spaceship fires too fast & too precisely, and the player controls are just not all that precise on a phone. So gameplay is fun only for maybe a minute.

No speed calibration. No chance to avoid UFO'S. To many UFO's on second wave appearing at one time. Controls are hard to master. If it could be controlled by orientation sensor input that would get a rating of 4★ or 5★. Would consider buying an ad free version if those kind of improvements could be made. Other than that it's a great game and you should at least try it although I did give it a 1★ rating

Great asteroids clone, only one I've found so far with controller support, but I would love to see more controller functionality (start to pause in game and the ability to select menu items) and a smooth rotation option for retro controllers with no analog stick (x axis should do additive rotation). Great game other than that.
