In Islamic law, the term martyrdom is known, which has a special place in the sight of Allah SWT.

At least there are two kinds of uniqueness of people who died martyrs.

First: those who are declared martyrs will later enter heaven without being brought to account. As if all his sins and mistakes no longer have to be accounted for later in the afterlife.

This is a strange and unique way of dying. Because in general, each of us will be held accountable later in the final Yaumil.

No one can enter heaven just like that without being brought to account, except only the prophets and apostles who are infallible. While we are ordinary humans, all of us still have to go through the reckoning procedure on the Day of Resurrection.

If there were exceptions, certain people could just go to heaven without having to go through the reckoning route, that would be very special indeed. And one of them that has been determined based on the texts is those who died as martyrs.

Second: it turns out that the body of a martyr doesn't have to be washed or shrouded, it's enough to just pray and bury it.

Even though all adherents of Islam are required to do 4 things for their deceased relatives, namely:
1. Bathing
2, shroud
3. Pray
4. Bury

The law becomes fartdhu kifayah, that is, if someone has implemented it, the obligation will be released from all of us. But if no one does it, then all of us Muslims become sinners.

Suddenly a special exception came, that the body of a martyr does not need to be washed or even wrapped in a shroud, it is enough just to pray and bury it.

This anomaly is of course very special, especially for those who get the opportunity to die as a martyr.
