The wives of the prophet Muhammad SAW have a very noble position. They have the title Ummahatul-Mukminin, that is, to become mothers for the believers.

This booklet contains a list of women who had the honor of being the wife of the Prophet Muhammad. There are a total of 11 people, namely:

1. Khadija bint Khuwailid
2. Saudah bint Zam'ah
3. Aisyah daughter of Abu Bakr
4. Hafsah bint Umar
5. Zainab bint Khuzaemah
6. Umm Salamah
7. Zaenab bint Jahsh
8. Juwairiyah bint Al-Harith
9. Umm Habibah bint Abi Sufyan
10. Shafiyha bint Huyai bin Akhtab
11. Maimunah bint Al-Harith

Two of the women died earlier than the death of the Prophet SAW, namely Khadijah and Zainab bint Khuzaemah. So that when the Prophet SAW died, there were 9 women who became widows.

Of the eleven women who had been the wife of the Prophet SAW who gave birth to only one child, namely Khadijah.

It was from this Khadijah that the Prophet SAW had children, two sons named Qasim and Abdullah, four daughters, namely Zaenab, Umm Kaltsum, Ruqayyah and Fatimah.
