Ratings and reviews

Slow, tries to charge you (not as bad as the website at all though), it isn't consistent, it shows you different settlements when you go to click the feature to see when they were, the regions suck (better than other DNA testers). But that's a very short list of problems, the app is high quality. The DNA stuff is good, it knew stuff about me that I didn't have to tell it and it told me stuff I did not know. Overall good app, I would recommend, especially over othera.

Prior to the most recent update, DNA results were more detailed and less vague. Before, it showed that I was not only German but specifically Volga German and now it doesn't show the specifics. I also question the accuracy of the updated results as the percentages of Scottish and German, which were significantly different, were flip-flopped. Also, the app crashed after a few minutes of working on my family tree and I have to relaunch.

I used to love this app now its full of bugs. You used to be able to see the tree expand when you clicked on a person's profile, now I keep getting an error. You can no longer see what percentage of YOU came from each parent (was free now it's pay for). It doesn't feel as easy to use anymore when looking up potential ancestors. It feels too jumbled. Previous versions of this app were much better.
