The REC currency (Ɍ) is a variant of the so-called social or local currencies. It is a system of citizen exchange complementary to the euro, which allows transactions between people, entities and businesses that accept it.
Active since 2018, the currency is already implemented in several neighborhoods of the city and has generated movements for more than 1 million euros, consolidating itself as a tool for the empowerment of citizens in the creation of money and the impact that this generates in our environment.
