RADYO Z, which started its broadcasting life as ZEYTİN FM on 6 November 1993, decided to continue its broadcasting life by renewing itself by changing its name and broadcasting prototype as of 23 January 2002.
RADYO Z, as ZEYTİN FM, has been among the most listened radio stations in ISTANBUL, thanks to its quality broadcasting policy and broadcasting power and its stability in foreign relations. The preparations for the new broadcasting period started in June 2013 and will continue to broadcast in the old broadcast stream as of June 2013. The satellite frequency will be announced to our listeners on the website in the coming days.
RADYO Z will continue its broadcast on satellite and over the web all over Turkey and the campuses within the satellite coverage area. Radio Z's technical equipment has been renewed and will continue to broadcast with a high quality digital system. RADYO Z broadcasts mainly Turkish pop music and partially includes other music genres. It aims to give priority to programs on Artistic Programs, health programs, Nostalgic programs, Children's programs and education programs, and as one of its most important missions, ecological lifestyle, eco-city planning, ecological urban transformation, which are foreseen by the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK). The audience profile will be reshaped accordingly.
