About this game

A non-addictive game which favours the self-discovery, the empathy and the social abilities in our kids, three of the fundaments of the Emotional Intelligence.

Also teachers and educators can use “basic emotions el perruco” as one of the games to learn and to work with the emotions in the classroom.

This interactive game is directed towards boys and girls of pre-school (3-6 years old) and primary school (6-8 years old), they will learn to identify and to call the basic emotions with it.

This first version deals with seven basic emotions and it is made in Spanish and English, so they will also learn to call the emotions in both languages.

Start the game placing before “el perruco” one of the different stimulus that you have to choose, every one of them will provoke a different emotion in our character. After the observation of what “el perruco” expresses, you have to identify the emotion it feels before that stimulus and to call that particular emotion.

In this process of exploration of the emotions of the rest (empathy), first they have had to find them in themselves (self-knowledge), recognizing and identifying their own emotions and afterwards to express and to call them with their own name.

As a complement of the game, you can talk with your kids about the emotions, generating a confidence climate, to know each other better and to reinforce the bonds.

The game hasn’t got punctuation or time accountant and it doesn’t generate anxiety in children, creating an optimal state for the comprehension and the diversion.

With this educative game and with the conversations that derive from it, we will help our kids to develop their Emotional Intelligence in a funny way, increasing their emotional comprehension and their social abilities, improving the family and school well-being and the tolerance to the frustration.
