About this game

Discover by logic alone where the SeaBattle fleet is hidden in the sea! SeaBattle puzzles are a single player version of the classic game many of us used to enjoy as children. Using pure logic and requiring no math to solve, these addictive puzzles offer endless fun and intellectual entertainment to puzzle fans of all skills and ages.

A typical SeaBattle puzzle consists of a 10x10 grid containing a hidden fleet of ten known ships. The only information is numbers telling how many ship segments are in each row and column, and some given ship segments in various places in the grid. The object is to discover where all ten ships are located in the grid.

The game includes a pencilmarks feature to place temporary water or ship segments when solving very hard puzzles, and a highlight excluded squares feature to help see where certain ship sizes can be placed.

To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.

For more fun, SeaBattle contains no ads and includes a Weekly Bonus section providing an extra free puzzle each week.

[Update: Thank you for the response. Having played this every day since, changing to 5 stars. This interface is solid, no issues, enjoyable and relaxing to play.] Excellent implementation of is type of logic puzzle, highly recommend!! 4 stars because two features that have already been mentioned months ago still need to be done: dark mode and Next button. Add those, easy 5 star review.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. Both ideas are on our list, but are taking us much more time than we expected. Hope we will get to it later this year.

You get one 40 pack of each difficulty(easy, medium, hard)for free. And one free puzzle every week. But then you have to buy anything else. The purchase necessary are 50 packs.. but at $1-3 dollars, with no bonus packs for buying x-amount of packs and no option to buy larger packs.. it's almost a waste. Which is sad, cuz the set up for the game play is REALLY good. But not good enough for me to spend this much money on.. might uninstall now. Getting a new one everyday might make it worth keeping

It's a decent implementation of a classic puzzle, but the monetization is a bad joke. If the app was $1.99 for unlimited puzzles, I'd gladly pay, but that price for 50 puzzles which take a computer a millisecond to generate is just nickle and diming us. One free puzzle per week isn't generosity.
