How to play the backgammon game

- Classic backgammon is a logic puzzle for two, played on a board of 24 triangles. These triangles are called points.
- Each player sits on the opposite sides of the board with 15 checkers, black or white.
- To start the backgammon game, players take turns and roll the dice. That’s why free backgammon is often called a dice game.
- In backgammon players move pieces based on the numbers rolled. For example, if you roll 2 and 5, you can move one piece 2 points and another one 5 points. Alternatively, you can move one piece 7 points.
- Once all of a player’s pieces are in his or her “home”, that player may begin removing pieces off of the board.
- A player wins the backgammon game once all of their pieces are removed from the board

Points are all the same color, making movement calculations harder. The doubling cube comes after the roll and before movement. much easier to decide doubling or not, but that's not the rules of backgammon. the computer seems to only be concerned about running -- not blocking. Make a 5 point game with doubling cube, and you'll never lose if you have any backgammon skills at all. It's fun to play: you always win. However, it's no challenge at all.

I've never seen a game that cheats as obviously as this one, in order to force losing at all levels, in order to give the intermittent reward of wins at all levels, and to push the game length out to show more adds. Apparently, you decided not to use a random number generator code for your die rolls, and thought the public would be too dumb or too addicted to games to notice. It's not even fun when five games in a row the "opponent" comes from behind at the last minute with double sixes, etc.

Hello Cathleen, thank you for your feedback! The dice rolls in our app are governed by an RNG, ensuring fairness and unpredictability. It's common to perceive certain patterns during gameplay, but this is a characteristic of randomness. Occasional patterns that appear deliberate are actually expected within the realm of statistical probabilities.

I Love Backgammon! Very challenging game, but this version can be rewarding at times, BUT the games seem very Unfair with the dice rolls-- especially while playing the daily challenges and tournaments where games start out with sporadic, scattered pieces! The opponent seems to get better rolls and set ups throughout the game- challenging but frustrating too!! Also, I would give a better rating if there wasn't sooo many ads during each game!!!

Hi Celeste, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We understand your concerns. While it's natural to notice certain patterns or behaviors during gameplay, it's important to keep in mind that these observations may not necessarily indicate unfairness. Randomness can sometimes create sequences or patterns that might appear non-random.
