“ICEY is a Meta game in disguise. The narrator will constantly urge you in one direction, but you must ask, "Why? Why am I following his directions? Why can't I learn the truth about this world and ICEY's purpose here?" Fight against his tyranny, and uncover what's really going on for yourself!

A lot more than meets the eye, this game actually requires multiple play throughs to get the full story. Unlike with other narrator driven titles, DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING. I wont go into detail but it suffices to say that many seem to think this is a short game when it is anything but, there are MULTIPLE weaving story lines that make up the full story and if you do not stray from the beaten path (sometimes to an absurd degree) you won't get the full experience. Hint: the definition of insanity

Its a lot of fun. The controls are a little difficult to get used to (for me anyways) especialy for one of the minigames where the light attack is replaced by the jump button. The graphics are fantastic even on low graphics and 30 fps. It rarely lags. The music is awesome. The bosses are unique. The little hidden bits and pieces are interesting althlugh it can be tedious at times. I think the only problem ive had with the game is the jumping minigame. Im almost at end of character count so...

This game is truly a masterpiece. Very responsive. The game is more reliant on the skill of the player. It has a DMC feel to it. Dash timing, counter attacks, attack combo variety. The fact that it is a 2D sidescroller hasn't broken the feel to it. It's more of a cross between Metroidvania and DMC. It has areas that open after you acquire the right upgrades like Metroidvania, but it is far more responsive and skill based.
