Upon installation, it locked me out of my account on my laptop and the app. Called to have my account unlocked, on hold too long. Rep was very polite but said it was because l type too fast, seriously?? Went to set up mobile check deposit only to find the instructions useless as that is not an option in the drop down menu . Uninstalling. l don't have time to sit on hold again. Reading reviews, this app is obviously troubled and l do not have confidence the check will actually deposit correctly.

Hi Karen, Sorry to hear your issues. We have thousands of happy members so use it every day, so let's see if we can get you right. You do have to have your correct Login ID &p/w correct first. Under Menu, select Transactions and Mobile Deposit Enrollment. Once enrolled, log out and then back in. Now you should see "Deposit a Check" in its place.

The new app is worse than the old one. Not the one it replaced, the one BEFORE that. This is garbage. I used it for nothing but depositing checks, and that doesn't work well. It wasn't ready when they were done their 'big system migration' and somebody still forgot to enable the flash to illuminate the checks. Beside that it looks like nothing but a crappy browser to view their site. Reply to FMFCU: It sounds like you're saying "yes it IS just a crappy browser', which there's nothing wrong with that, but when you REMOVE a NECESSARY feature like the light to illuminate checks I am imaging for deposit, that gets you ire. And yes I will try it again, because I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT to use this until someone fixes it. And if you do, I promise to come back and update the review... Hows that for motivation?

Update: Cameras usually only have 1-2 flash levels designed for taking photos of people a few feet away, so the flash typically creates large blown out portions on the image which is why it is not implemented yet. Making it a consistent standard is better due to the hundreds of devices out there we have to support. Hope the explanation helps.

The updated app is an improvement to the already great app. I have been doing remote banking with FMFCU for the past 7 years and really appreciate it. Thank you. The only minor inconvenience is with "bill pay". It allows you to select a date that is invalid. You only find out about it when you go to the screen to review and submit the payments. In my opinion, in addition to weekends, it should also have those random dates (holidays, etc.) grayed out as unavailable choices. That's why I gave 4 st

Hi Albert. We appreciate the feedback! However, I'm not sure what you're seeing, but the weekends are greyed out and not available for selection. However, I do see the holidays are available so I will sent that to our development team. Thank you for pointing that out!
