I'm very happy with the schedule options by day for each week, though it would be nice to be able to set more than two schedules. But why no timer function? I can do this on the remote, but why not the app? There are plenty of options to buy infrared thermostats that function just like any other smart thermostat these days. So between the cost of the Wi-Fi module, and the poor functionality, unless this app improves, it doesn't make any sense to deal with it

Somehow I must be one of the lucky few who's app has worked correctly with every update. Occasionally we have had a connection error but that was an issue with the limits of Verizon myfi hot spot and not an issue with the unit or the app. I would have given this five stars had not been for the update that limited the cooling temperature to 64 degrees. I used to be able to drop it to 62 which translated to 64 actual room temp. For the love of menopausal women everywhere...bring back 62 degrees!

Works great! Took about 5 minutes to connect. I connected using manual mode. Found out I had to disconnect from my 5g wifi and connected instantly when I connected on the 2.4 ghz. FYI - It took a long time, almost 2 minutes to 'connect' or set itself up in the app. NOTE: You have to connect to the wifi on the unit 1st. I had to be about 3 feet from the unit to get it to connect. Then it seeks your wifi.
