FIRST AID CREW
The Parchment app is used by intervention teams, aid stations, ambulances... of the Red Cross.
The intervention teams and ambulances receive a push message when a new intervention presents itself.
The location and information of their intervention to a victim can be found in the app. The location of the intervention is also shown on a map. You can also navigate to the victim via the app.
During an intervention, the exact location of the intervention team or ambulance can be forwarded to the OCP or CP-Event. This allows them to follow the intervention team or ambulance live on a digital map to support the emergency services.
The intervention teams and ambulances can report their status (departure to victim, arrival of victim, etc.) to the OCP or CP-Event via the app.
Emergency stations can request a victim to be taken to hospital via the app. It is also possible to request a transfer of a victim from an aid station to another aid station.
The OCP or CP-Event can send push group messages with relevant information about the progress of the preventive assistance action. The messages can be sent individually, to a specific group or to the entire group.
EVENT CREW
The Parchment app can also be used by event crew members present at the event site. This way they can quickly report the location of a victim on the site and they are quickly connected directly to a care provider in the OCP or CP Event.
The event crew member naturally stands next to a victim who he wants to report to the OCP or CP-Event.
REMARK
The app requires a continuous connection to the internet for optimal operation. Using location services can drain the battery faster. The app does everything it can to greatly limit battery consumption.
