Ratings and reviews

So far? This feels like coming home. I've been a Ragnarok fan for years, and this streamlined - but, crucially, not needlessly simplified - port hits all the right beats. The gameplay, the graphics and the music have been tweaked, but retain absolutely all their old charm. Monetization is present, but unobtrusive: I haven't spent a penny so far and haven't felt I needed to, but I probably will because I think it deserves it. If you never played the original, give it a go: if you did, doubly so.

Decent Ragnarok version for mobile phones. It's close to the original in certain aspects, far in a few more mechanics and better in some elements, like quests, UI, etc. I give it 3* because it is, in my opinion, right midway of it's potential. I'll upgrade my score as the game improves in future patches. Translation needs to improve a lot (at this stage, early release).

The game is awesome, no offence. But, there are too many downsides for it to be a game that I'd often play. The game is laggy and spikey, at all times (my phone is brand new). The game is pay to win as all items with decent stats are from gatcha which requires you to use 30 gold coins which cost £5 (for one spin!) and you are super likely to get rubbish instead of something good. Busses are super dificult to farm as all pay to win player would kill them before you even try... Too many problems.
