Ratings and reviews

Alfred was a five star app for me and I loved it. However, features such as Playback and Events have recently been removed from the standard functionality and instead have been replaced with an annual/monthly subscription service. I don't recall being notified of that change, but it's possible I missed it. Either way, it's pretty disappointing and drastically changes how useful the app is for users that don't wish to subscribe to yet another service. I'd much rather a one time payment.

They made changes that are horrific. Will no longer use this app. It records so much inactivity so it's hard to locate clips. It also does not save for a few days anymore. It's terrible. We recommended this app to everyone. Will will no longer do so. SMH. Sad. Because it use to be awesome. Update.. Insane. No longer free at all. Pop up ads every minute! Kicked out etc. Can't review clips anymore at all. They are pushing for you to pay. I even figured a way to see if they watch and they do!

The big selling point of this app was reusing old phones as cameras. Unfortunately, as more and more features move behind a subscription wall, the value proposition has declined. I understand you have to pay for your own infrastructure but perhaps consider allowing subscription features in limited fashion rather. For example, limit the playback feature to an hour or so for non-subscription users.
