This game is frustrating. It's waiting for your Scientists to generate enough tech points to reach the next puzzle. I have LOVED Virtual Villagers since I was first able to play it years ago, but this "new" game is disappointing. The hints don't help you understand if more technology (tech points) are needed or if the Villager skill needs to be higher, and how Exploring factors in to the many caves and temples on the map. It's a P2P if you don't want to wait a month for a puzzle. Not worth it.

I would love to give 5 stars as I have enjoyed all Virtual Villager games and overall this one is fantastic like the others. However, after playing a good bit I suddenly have been slapped in the face excessively with forced ads. Random ads cuz it feels like it, an ad every single time I collect a crafted item, etc. It's a gimmy gimmy ad money game now juat about as bad as all those junky simulator games. It's really disappointing.

I love the Virtual Villagers Series, and this one is no exception. I'm thrilled that the game designers resisted the temptation to change the look of the game. These games are very challenging. I will admit that I have occasionally, throughout the series, gotten stuck and had to reach out for help, but as always it's more fun when you solve it yourself. I recommend starting with the original, as the story is ongoing. Thank you, for such a fun series, and I look forward to VV7!
