About this app

"Super Robot Bros" is an educational and fun game to learn the basics of programming and develop logic. Discover concepts such as sequencing, actions, loops, conditionals or events.

Play and learn as you unlock levels and incorporate new elements to develop your logical thinking while collecting coins, opening chests and avoiding being caught by your enemies: jump on top of the turtle, make sure that the carnivorous plant doesn't appear and dodge the projectiles as you advance towards the flag.

Some elements of the game will remind you of the famous "Super Mario Bros", the game that introduced many of us to platform games and made us fall in love with video games as a tool for developing perceptual skills and problem solving. So we have paid Mario a humble tribute.

There's a game breaking bug on board 12 of "Conditionals" (3rd island). Pressing the lever makes the game hang, stopping all future instructions. My 6yr old was really into the game, until that point. I experimented with it and it's definitely a bug. "left, left" to pull the lever makes it hang. "Big-left-jump" to pull the lever makes it hang. I eventually found that looping "left-single-jump" let instructions continue after the lever pull. There may be other ways, but I stopped debugging.

I'm highly disappointed in this game. First, it doesn't explain what you're supposed to be doing. Second, it doesn't respond to touch. It took me banging around on the screen to even reach the first level. Then, once I got there, nothing happens. I tried touching the screen all over, and my robot just stands there. The graphics are nice, and I like the idea behind it, but seeing as I can't even get started on it, it's pointless.

Cute looking game but touch controls fail on Samsung Note 9, Android 10. Unable to play. Happy to provide real rating if fixed.
