I paid for service for nearly a year until I gave up because the app is so insanely frustrating. It crashes constantly. It frequently does not save one's place in the book. It doesn't really work offline. And the funny thing is that they haven't fixed anything even though after reading these reviews, clearly, many issues exist that have not been resolved since it launched. It's too bad because they have such a wonderful selection of books that you'll never read because of the app.

The application keeps closing or going back to a previous page if I change the orientation of my phone even slightly by accident. I absolutely love the collection of books though; I wish the rest of the app was more usable. Update: This app really sucks please work on it. Some of the pages have no text sometimes and I have to go back and forth multiple times to make the text appear. Some of the books do not download for no apparent reason. It is all quite upsetting.

The app is so difficult to navigate especially when you're trying to scroll through your book, when you're trying to reference a page or exit the app and reopen it, it takes you to a whole other chapter like you weren't just reading page 30 but now somehow you're on 66. How does that happen and why? Also you CANNOT download PDF versions of your book false advertisement there.

Hi Myles, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the app. Please feel free to contact us at help@perlego.com with the title(s) in question so we can take a closer look. Also apologies for any miscommunication, you can download books in the app for offline use, but it goes against copyright laws to move them off of the app, similar to Netflix.
