WOMag - expertise in materials and surfaces - is the specialist magazine for technical-scientific information on material processing and processing up to the final surface treatment. These technologies are used along the process chain of specialized design and engineering to produce a variety of products. The focus is on the materials (metal, plastic, ceramics, composites) and their processing. Topics are the production, processing and properties of base materials as well as the production and properties of surfaces with regard to decorative and functional challenges. In addition to the substrates, the coating is considered, for example with metals and inorganic coating materials. It offers technical-scientific essays on specialist topics as well as reports on technologies in use, about companies and events. Recurring sections include technical briefs, information from companies, associations, institutes and training institutions, legislative news (REACh) or standardization in the field.
The technical and scientific information in WOMag is mainly used in the following sectors: automotive, mechanical engineering, aerospace, medical technology, food technology, sanitation, tool construction, plant engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering, connection technology, measurement technology, fittings, decoration.
The editors are advised and supported in the compilation and viewing of information by a circle of about 20 specialists in material processing and processing as well as surface technology.
Contents and uses:
