WHAT'S AT PLAY?

Escape the BOOM! is a cooperative game. One player must defuse the bomb but has no idea how. The rest of the team has the manual with the necessary instructions but cannot see the bomb. The only way to succeed? Communication! And lots of it. You have only five minutes to decipher the clues together. Withstand the pressure, keep your cool... and Escape the BOOM!

Tried the free version in a team event and it was really fun! Now, I bought the full version to play it with my family this weekend. 3 generations with 3 languages have to work together to escape the BOOM, everyone is already excited 🥳

The game is a good teamwork learning tool and the format of the game is also very immersive. It is time bound which gives a sense of urgency like meeting a deadline. Failing at the stages gives the adrenaline to better next time. It also brings the team on the same page like literally on the same page of the manual, it just reflects that when working with a team, we need to be undertood by everybody if the team needs to succeed.

Clever and well designed. If it had the option to set the countdown to a desired number of minutes rather than being locked to 5, it'd be awesome. Playing with my kids and 5 min is way too challenging.
