The device cannot find any network. We have a new wifi box. I've tried everything. I even plugged the old wifi back in and it still couldn't find anything. Waste of money, only lasted 1 year. In fact less as it was a Christmas present last year. I've connected over 50 devices to our new wifi. Old and new. I know what I'm doing. This is the only device that is hopeless. 2.4ghz. Switched to various levels of security. close to wifi box. reset. uninstall and reinstall. different devices.

I have owned 2 genies for about a year now. When I first bought them the App didn't work and I had to wait several months for the App to be updated. Both units then worked for a short while until this latest App update. Now nothing works. Cannot find any WiFi networks and one unit is stuck in connect mode. Even resetting the unit doesn't fix it. Love the fragrances.....but don't like the price for something that simply doesn't work! I expected Rituals to be quicker at fixing this common issue!

Bought this for the app control, but it's impossible to set up. The device refuses to connect to my 2.4 GHz WiFi, even though all my other smart devices work fine. I tried every fix: factory resetting the Genie, reinstalling the app, and restarting my router. It fails at the same step every time, making the app 100% useless. The only feature that works is the 1-hour offline button. This is just a basic, expensive diffuser, not a "smart" one. Deeply frustrating and a waste of money.
