Not entirely user-friendly or intuitive, but it allowed me to use my reward points, so there was value.

infinite loading when I launch the app, I only see a blue screen with a logo and a spinning loading indicator.

This version of the app is not working. Plus, there was an attempt to include usage of points to cover for hotel costs, as part of your instant redemption feature, but was decommissioned since it crashed. It's no longer satisfactory. I have lived in rotana for several years but after losing points due to a change in exclusive reward number and failure to utilize my points now, I really cant recommend this to my friends & family anymore.
