YATZY is a board game with its original rules. Five dices with six sides and 15 sections to be filled in 15 rounds. It is a Scandinavian public domain dice game very similar to Poker Dice, Yacht, Generala and Cheerio. Yatzy is also known as Yahtzee, Yachty and Farkle in different countries. You can play Yazy with your virtual buddies with high level artificial intelligence. Do not hesitate to play Yatzee with your make-believe friends. They are virtual but this prevents wasting precious time for waiting for live opponents.

This is a game of strategy and luck. Try to get the highest points possible by completing fifteen different dice combinations. Those combinations are one pair, two pairs, three of a kind, four of a kind, small straight, large straight, full house, and chance for the lower section and ones, twos, threes, fours, fives, and sixes for the upper section. And we have Yatzy, the mother of them all. You can play Yatzy solitaire or against an opponent. In single player, you choose your target points and try to score higher than that. Against an opponent, you just have to score higher than your rival.

I had it on 5 stars, but I had change it. After the update today, 10/13/2024, they added animation to the right side of the board and it slows down the game play a lot. The yatzy animation is ok. After a longer thinking, I really never play the versus matches, because it's all bots and they make stupid decisions. Tha ads are ok and skippable, please keep it that way and rethink the animations. Are there coming more tables after 140? Edit: thanks for taking the animation back out, awesome

Latest update reversed the previous update. Thanks. Oversized dice and pop-ups after your turn made it feel like a cheesy game show. Can't give it 5 stars because of the asinine decisions the game makes, I e.. Rolling a 6 and 4 ones it'll keep the six, even though it needs the ones. Otherwise, good way to kill time.

Pros: Nice colorful layout; Good sound design; Easy to earn coins;... Cons: Ads after each game; No challenge modes; Limited dice options (which cost way too much); Inconsistent (cheap) AI difficulty; Relatively slow gameplay... The last couple of weeks, this version of Yatzy became an excuse for me to do lottery scratchers to earn coins I'll never use. Overall, the cons outweigh the pros, and it's just not a very rewarding version of the game. Give this one a pass.
