Nuj is an alarm clock that charges you money for staying in bed!


How it works
1. Set an alarm time, and a get up time
2. Add some barcodes you have to scan
3. Set a penalty
4. If you don't scan one of the barcodes by the get up time, you get charged the penalty

For example:
1. Set an alarm for 7:00am with a get up time of 7:05am
2. Add the toothpaste and shampoo barcodes
3. Add a $50 penalty
4. Alarm goes off at 7:00am
5. Get up and scan the toothpaste barcode before 7:05am. Or, don't, and lose $50 (money goes to charity).

Brilliant app! I struggle to get out of bed every single day. One day I heard about Nuj from a reddit post and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever! I tried many similar apps before but I always end up turning my phone off, deleting the app or resetting it. But with Nuj it doesnt matter, since the alarm is saved on the cloud, if you don't fulfil the task it WILL charge you money. Its definitelly the app that I need and I'm happy to pay for unlimited alarms!

Hands down, the best alarm app I've ever come across. I'd been praying for an app like this for the last two years, and it was a dream come true to find it. With every other app I've weaseled my way around alarms as a result of my powerfully sleepy and tricky willpower. Nuj is the real deal. Customer service is always 110%. I don't know how Noel is always available, lol. But he is. He is incredibly attentive and service-oriented. If I set an alarm with the Nuj app, I know that I'm getting up.

Literally a life-changing app. After using all five of freebie alarms (5/month in the free version), I immediately paid the $5 for a month of the premium version so I can use it daily until my wakeup time is fully "set". And the creator is so responsive! I requested that my favorite charity be added, and he instantly added it and personally messaged me to say so. I've never paid for any app before, but this is absolutely worth it if you need more than five alarms that month.
