The City has its Public Bicycle Transportation System, free, 24 hours, every day of the year. BA Ecobici by Tembici has 4000 bicycles and 400 stations distributed throughout the city, reaching 80% of the neighbors.

It is simple:

Log in by entering your username and password;
 locate the nearest station;
Enter the station number you are in
select "unlock the bike" by entering the code on the keyboard next to the bike
wait for the green light with beep
Ready, to pedal! To return the bike you must only lock it in a free position in your destination station.
 

The bikes have integrated chain protector, lightweight and durable aluminum frame, high efficiency brakes, front and rear LED lights powered by a dynamo, three speed changes, height adjustable seat and robust basket adaptable according to the size of the luggage.

Horrible waste of time! After a tedious registration process in Spanish, although it accepts registration as a tourist, it doesn't accept the addition of the credit card. Cata, the virtual "assistant" can't advance beyond requesting the DNI. In summary, complete garbage! If you don't want tourists to use the system, specify that from the beginning. You are not advancing the tourism industry and that's a shame!

It worked ... once. 1. The number of bikes available at each station is incorrect most of the time. 2. The GPS on the map is not accurate. 3. The app fails to generate a code to retrieve a bike most of the time. These three things make the system barely usable. It would be good to add a function to look up a station by number.

Terrible app, tried to pay with multiple credit cards, no success except for one day. Contacted support multiple times, very unhelpful, did not fix the problem. If visiting BA, don't bother, find another way to rent a bike, as this system is so broken. Why bother having an app if you won't support your users? Just have visitors sign up at the tourist centers instead of having this terrible experience
