Testbirds is Europe's leading Crowdtesting provider with a global crowd of over 1,000,000 users. With the latest Testbirds Companion app, we are providing our testers with a helpful toolkit that supports them during their testing cycles in our community.

The latest version of the Testbirds Companion app provides you with these amazing features:

 VPN Integration: Testbirds offers a secure VPN for some tests. We collect app usage data in these cases. The data is only stored on our secure servers and only as long as necessary for the test. We ask for your consent again in the app, before connecting to the VPN.

More features are already planned to offer further handy tools for our testers.

 

Earn money by telling us your opinion about software! Anyone can be a Testbird! The payments are proportional to the complexity of the task. For a regular usability test, you would earn around 20 Euros or 15 Pounds for example. There is usually a fixed amount for your test report and additional payment for every Bug (defect) you find. If you find serious Bugs, you will earn even more!

 

Testbirds was founded in 2011 by Georg Hansbauer, Philipp Benkler and Markus Steinhauser. Today, the company with its headquarters in Munich as well as offices in Amsterdam and London has over 100 employees. Testbirds works with over 750 clients worldwide, which include large-scale multi-national groups as well as small- to medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. Companies like BMW, Audi, Deutsche Telekom, Allianz, The Independent, and Western Union trust in Testbirds’ services to optimize their digital products.

Ratings and reviews

Thank you for developing this app! It would be awesome to have the option to reply to nest messages directly in the app instead of being navigated to a browser. Also, would be great to view the test invitation details from the app instead of external browsers.

There are some spelling mistakes. Also, it needs more work, there is no way to directly contact the company via the app. The Dashboard header reads a different thing on the app than on the website.

A total scam. You should know that for the hours you put in, you don't get an appropriate reimbursement. I have just finished a project where I was asked to put in over 10 hours of my time and in the end, I haven't got a single cent from the company. No money at all for 10 hours of work. Apparently any error on their side will be viewed as your mistake. Stay away.
