When I write a Filipino word in it does not translate. I have tried changing the language setup from Filipino to English. And also English to Filipino but still it doesn't translate the word. It just copies the word I have written onto the translation area

Once in a while, there are sentences my friends say in writing that I can't convert. I think they are using the more common language instead of the formal language

Works pretty well for tagalog.. most Filipino will speak tagalog if asked.. However it does not translate the other 50 or more languages in Philippines.. you won't find an app that does..
