Udmurtia is a unique region. In addition to the rich nature, there is a culture unique in its originality. These are songs, legends, literature and, of course, their own national language - the Udmurt language. The Udmurt region is the only place in the world where people speak this particular language. Every year there are fewer speakers of the Udmurt language. According to UNESCO, if the number of speakers continues to decline at the same rate, then in 100 years the Udmurt language may disappear completely. In the course of history, a natural process is irreversible - this is the migration of the population, its movement. The Udmurts have spread all over the world, so the number one task for today is the need to preserve the language.
In the modern world, it is difficult to imagine a person without a modern smartphone. The speed of modern mobile technologies is growing and pervading all aspects of life. People often spend their free time watching news feeds, photos, posts, video content on social networks, chatting and playing games on their gadgets. An important role in a person's life is played by mobile applications that are already built into a modern phone by the manufacturer - a camera, gallery, browser, explorer, calendar, clock, alarm clock, stopwatch, etc., and which can be downloaded from the online application store - instant messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.), social networks (VK, Odnoklassniki, etc.), online goods stores (AliExpress, Wildberries, etc.), applications of government agencies (State Services, Federal Tax Service, FSS, etc.). etc.), mobile banks (Sberbank online, Rosselkhozbank, etc.), various educational applications and games that make life easier for a person. Today, without leaving your home, you can chat with friends, find out the latest news on social networks, order home delivery of goods, receive government services, make bank transfers, which significantly saves time and money. Also, modern phones are assistants in the study of various sciences through the information and telecommunication network "Internet".
The project "Mobile application" WORDSkon "- provides for the creation of software for mobile phones, which in a playful way will help the user to learn the Udmurt language. The name of the application comes from the English word WORDS, which means WORDS. In general, the name is pronounced like the Udmurt word "WORDSKON", which means "BIRTH" in Russian.
The application will provide entertaining game content (quest) in the form of a training course in the Udmurt language. After learning a few Udmurt words, the user will be given the opportunity to test their knowledge and memory through the Filword game. The Feelword will be a puzzle for composing Udmurt words from a given set of letters. A set of letters will be built into a square. The player must connect the letters standing next to each other in such a way that an Udmurt word is obtained. With each level, the number of letters and words to be found will increase. This puzzle will consist of 70 levels of varying difficulty. With each passed level, the difficulty will increase. After passing all 70 training levels, the user will be given the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge by passing new levels for a while. The user will be able to compare the results of the passage of these levels with the results of other players. The application will be available for download for all puzzle lovers for free.
The game format of the Application will arouse the user's interest and desire, while continuing to study the Udmurt language, strives to go through all the levels of the game. After passing the whole game, the user will improve their knowledge in the field of the Udmurt language, improve memory and attentiveness. The application will be useful not only for users who want to learn the Udmurt language in their free time, but also for citizens who are native speakers of the Udmurt language.
