Notepad is an easy-to-use free notes app for Android, optimized for after-call note-taking. This clear and simple notebook app allows you to make quick notes, memos, and checklists to help organize your life with great ease.

HIGH-QUALITY NOTEPAD
Notepad features many high-quality features including the options to write, save and edit notes, write checklists, sort notes by title or by date, and save backups of important notes to your phone. A useful note-taking feature on a call information screen allows you to make notes immediately following every phone call made or received so that you don’t forget any important details.

HANDY CHECKLIST FUNCTION
The useful checklist function allows you to keep clear lists such as shopping lists or task lists but also allows you to cross out items on the list when they are completed, without having to delete them, in case you need to refer to the original list later.

LOCATION-AWARE REMINDERS
Get reminders for your notes when you arrive at a specific location! When you write a note you can add a location of your choice. This could be for example a note to remind yourself to buy something from the supermarket, with the supermarket address added as the location. When you are close to that location, a useful reminder of the note will appear on your screen.

INTELLIGENT CALLER ID
An advanced caller ID function not only gives you detailed information on phone calls, including numbers not in your contact list but then gives you quick and direct access to Notepad should you need to make notes immediately after phone calls and not forget any important details.

For your privacy and data protection, we do not have access to any of your notes or store any of the information contained within them. Therefore, we recommend that you regularly use the useful backup feature on this app to avoid the accidental loss of any important information.

Ratings and reviews

Typing is slow as hell, resulting in the most amateur of grammatical errors and unintentional deltions. It's so glitchy and impossible to use once you reach a certain amount of notes, which I find humorous for an app which primary purpose is for note taking! Insane amount of ads for a note app. You're better off typing all this into docs or word, or even screenshotting your notes from a Google search bar. whatever you do, don't download Notepad. I'll be uninstalling in the very near future.

Was a great notepad app to use, with the occasional ad that wasn't in the way - until they started forcing unavoidable ads into your face as soon as you opened the app, and then said the only way to get rid of those ads (without using an adblocker) is by paying $3 a month, or $20 a year depending on the option you chose. Yep, you read that right, $20 a year to avoid ads...for a notepad app. That's genuinely pathetic. I recommend anyone who reads this review to use any other notepad app instead.

This used to be a very good note app. But without warning, it started acting like a revolving malware farm. No more ability to take notes at all. It just demands monthly payment of $2.99. Technically its ad based, but its not functional that way. I no longer have any access to my own data! Like a scam. I want access to my notes; but with this hijack/ransom action that they started with no warning, I don't feel I can trust them now... especially if I were to start a subscription
