About this app
At ChatClass you can learn English safely and fearlessly in dialogue with your digital chat partner Ada. ChatClass contains many tasks for the learning levels B1, B2 and C1 as well as the English textbooks by Cornelsen (5th-13th grade and vocational school). This includes speaking tasks where you can practice free speaking and correct pronunciation. There are also listening, reading and grammar exercises as well as varied vocabulary quizzes, all of which you can work on independently or as part of your homework.
Your teacher will give you an individual, reusable access code to log into the app. You can also try them out beforehand without a code. Your current tasks and notifications are displayed in the start area. In the practice area you can practice independently by selecting the current unit of your English lesson and working on its tasks. The homework assigned to you by your teacher appears in the assignments area. In the profile area you can see your learning status and switch to ninja mode.

Take a look at your current learning status and improve your skills. Switch to private ninja mode, which makes you invisible to your teacher.

The separate web app for teachers gives you an overview of your students' activities and learning progress. It supports you in assigning tasks to your students without much effort and giving them individual feedback. Encourage your students at their individual level and assign them the appropriate tasks individually or in groups. In the speaking tasks, the students discuss topics from the textbook. The chatbot Ada supports them with suitable idioms and vocabulary. The students use the app's recording function to record their contributions and send them off. The app complies with the data protection guidelines of the GDPR.
