Spotted is a dating app that provides you a space to socialize and meet new people based on real-life interactions.

It is intended to bring together people who have met in real life, crossed each other's paths, or hung out in the same places, flirted but did not have the chance to make a step.

It’s important to say that Spotted is not simply a dating app where complete strangers date or flirt with each other. Spotted connects you with local singles around you and is intended to give you a second chance.

After you install the dating app on your smartphone and allow tracking via GPS, you will be regularly located. Later, it will show all the people who have been to the same places at the same time, allowing you to meet new people or those whom you might have seen before, and socialize or date.

The platform is a gateway to:
Discover and make friends that spend time in your favorite spots.
Have conversations and flirt with nearby people.
Create meaningful relationships with like minded people.
Write posts anonymously and meet new people to hang out with.

How does it work?

Everyone who wants to make local friends, date, or just socialize should create an account on Spotted.

Key features of Spotted:
Fast Onboarding: Use your Facebook account credentials to Sign-up.
Create a profile based on your preferences.
GPS tracking to locate yourself and socialize with local people.
Filter people nearby by age or gender and flirt with them.
See who has visited your profile.
Add up to 6 pictures from your gallery or that of Facebook.
Send unlimited winks to other members for free.
Winking someone who has already winked at you makes a Match.
Start chatting with your Matches.
Extra:
Spotted recommends two Matches per day to every user; during 12 hours, they can send only a message to these Matches.

Profile Information:

To begin with your Profile creation, you have to enter information such as:
Name, Birthday, Gender & allow real-time location tracking for everything to work smoothly.
The more information you add, the more matches you get.

Profile Visitors

One of the bottom navigation bar icons directs you to the Profile Visitors screen. Here the profiles of users that checked your profile are shown, and they are presented by their name, profile picture, age, and the time they checked your profile.
You can fully view one profile every 12 hours.
If the user has not completed her/his profile, they will not be able to check other profiles either.
A pop-up with the suggestion to complete their profile will appear on their screen.
You can see the places other users have been if they have actually been near each other.
Matches
When both users wink at each other, it creates a Match!
You can initiate conversations with their matches.

Fake. When the gps function tells you that you "crossed paths " with someone recently, more often than not they're not even in the same state. Paid for upgraded membership and discovered this was the case... contacted customer support twice with no response. Deleted my account and uninstalled. Doing waste your time. I'd have left 0 stars if I could have.

I gave this app a 4 stars rating a few years back, but now honestly it doesn't even deserve a single star! They give you like 2 or 3 free messages every week, and the most annoying part is publishing a post! It works once in decade (even with paid version) always stays on review to never be published! I really don't understand what have gone so wrong with this app that used to be my favorite 😔

The concept of this app seems great, because the possibility of someone being fake is reduced by the fact that the app suggests people who you have been in the same proximity to IRL. In reality, there are far less users, & the matching seems sketchy, if not dishonest. I mean, I am quite certain that many of the profiles I have seen are definitely fakes, because NO ONE -- and I mean no one-- ever visits East Dublin, Ga without it being a trip to grandma's. Don't waste your 💵 on this App!
