About this app
AvioApp from Comet is the first version a simple app that accesses and synchronizes AIM for your device, but future versions are plenty of features to that used by pilots in general.
Why AvioApp?
Comet has for several years delivered apps for Aviation, but primarily as solutions for large companies. It enables companies to synchronize files to their staff, but also so that staff can send digital reports home and therefore saving workflows and reduce errors.
We have now decided to make an app that allows private pilots and pilots of smaller companies access to useful tools.
Initially the focus has been on AIM and thereby VFG VFR pilots. The app checks even though there are new updates to Naviair's website and download them into the app. So you always have the most updated with.
Although we have a wealth of ideas so we can not think of them all .. So you are welcome to submit suggestions, and praise and criticism, to us at avioapp@comet.dk
AvioApp version 1.0xx:
· Synchronization of data from AIM at Naviair
· Display the folder for new files or new versions of a file (red dot on the folder)
· Viewing the file in portrait or landscape view.
· Creating favorites - quick access to your most frequently used files.
· Sync log - view the last synchronization was successful, and when ..
Things we plan (some as payment function):
· Global search to documents - that is, free-text search in all documents.
· Space for third-party info .. Clubs, leaves or other that will send material to you digitally ... It can be KDA, DMU, RFK - FLYV or others.
· Filling out forms. As a start quite simple Tachometer reading of such andelsfly sent by e-mail to the bookkeeper. Later such forms to the Public Transport Authority or others.
· Collect others forms in own app and send the complete file, for example bookkeeping.
· Your own library of documents? Have you made you a package of things you want in the app?
· Selective sync - decide for yourself what you want with offline.
