A rich tourist guide for the heroic and historical Psara.
As small as the size of Psars, so much is their history, closely linked to the Independence Struggle, during which they were completely destroyed by the Turks in June 1824. This is still the island's visitor everywhere. Names of fighters in squares, busts of fighters, churches, monuments culminating in the Holocaust at the top of Black Rash, remind us of it in every step. The island, however, does not only stand out for its history. A place of virgin with wonderful natural beauty and unchanged from tourism, creates the ideal conditions for spending a few days of vacation away from the crowd, tension and movement.
