Aadhaar QR Code Scanner is official mobile application developed by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to provide facility of reading and validating the data present in QR code shown on eaadhaar and printed aadhaar card. The QR Code that is generated in e-aadhaar and aadhaar card is digitally signed by UIDAI and this application can read the QR Code to show the masked aadhaar number, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Address and Photograph of the resident. Post showing the data, the application will also validate the information against the signature and show it as “Aadhaar Data Verified”.

App is working fine. But unable to verify print out taken with eaadhaar.

Why don't they check after updating things? The app is neither scanning the QR from physical document nor from pdf, jpg, etc versions. Even the inbuilt mobile QR scanner and other merchant scanners are scanning it and giving some result. The respective tech team is requested to look into this so that it can help us not trouble us.

The new update has ruined everything. Its next to impossible to fit the QR code perfectly in the square box. Plus the accuracy is very low compared to the previous version. Thanks for nothing UIDAI
