The app allows you to read the fairy tales from the collection "Once upon a time ... fairy tales" (published in 1882) by Luigi Capuana, master of Italian Verismo.
The fairy tales, written in a quick prose, simplified to the maximum, full of refrains, cadences and chants, remain perhaps the happiest work of Capuana. They do not arise from an interest in the Sicilian folk heritage and are not collected as documents of popular psychology, but are born from invention (Wikipedia).
