About this app

■ Application Introduction
“ADT Caps Mobile Access Card” is an “application card” for operating installed devices provided to customers using SK Shielders’ machine security service (security service) or access control service,

and has the same functions as the plastic card that SK Shielders normally provides to its target customers.

Supports mobile apps and smartwatch apps (Wear OS).

■ Card Usage Conditions
- Mobile App
The NFC/Bluetooth function of the user’s smartphone must be activated.

- Smartwatch App (Wear OS)
The Bluetooth function of the user’s smartwatch must be activated.

The Wear OS version of this app is used for communication with BLE-based devices (access devices).

The Wear app cannot be run alone and must be used after completing the user authentication card issuance procedure on the mobile app.

The functions provided through BLE communication work with the card data issued to users who have completed identity authentication on the mobile app, so the mobile app is essential.
The Wear app is designed not to run without the mobile app, and in such a situation, it displays a guidance message to the user and completes exception handling to prevent the app from terminating abnormally.

This structure complies with Android system policies and Google Play policies, and is designed with user security and privacy in mind.

■ Access permission guide
1. Mobile app
- Nearby devices (required)
- Used for Bluetooth communication and communication with access devices.

- Location (optional)
- Used for Bluetooth communication and communication with access devices according to the user's choice to activate the function.
- This app requests location permission to detect nearby BLE beacons or Bluetooth devices and perform certain events (e.g., automatic screen on).
- The Android operating system requires location permission for Bluetooth LE scanning, and this app does not collect or store actual GPS coordinates or user locations.
- Camera (optional)
- Used to save card image data and take employee ID photos.
- Notification (optional)
- Used to receive notifications.

2. Smartwatch app (Wear OS)
- Nearby devices (required)
Used for Bluetooth communication and communication with access devices.

※ If you do not allow the required permissions, the app may not operate properly, and you can use services other than the corresponding functions even if you do not allow the optional permissions.
※ You can stop access to this permission in the settings. Additional functions may be automatically added within each group when you update the app.
