[Pietro's story]
Pietro opened in 1980 as a ``spaghetti specialty store'' in Tenjin, Fukuoka City. Based on the concept that ``anything that goes well with freshly cooked rice also goes well with freshly boiled spaghetti,'' the spaghetti combined with Japanese ingredients such as cod roe and mustard greens, which were still rare at the time, gradually became a hot topic, and by the time the restaurant reached its first anniversary, there were long lines of people. In addition, the original Japanese-style dressing, which is served on salads while waiting for the spaghetti to boil, gradually gained popularity through word of mouth, and the product was rolled out nationwide, mainly in Kyushu.
