YOGO is the first to launch a taxi booking app by developing a GPS/GPRS enabled smart taxi meter linked to a taxi booking app.
Amongst all the taxi booking apps, “YOGO” is the only service that uses a digital taxi meter that has been approved by the Sri Lanka Measurements department to calculate the accurate distance traveled by passengers.
Since all other taxi booking apps use an Android phone to calculate the distance traveled using GPS ,you are charged not for the actual distance traveled but an approximate estimated amount.

check your pickup location before conformation. It seams the app doesn't auto update your present location all the times. I thought the driver cant see my location. but driver said he was been able to see my location but the indicated location was wrong. anyway, the ride was fine. we look forward for great improvements. good luck.

I had multiple incidents where the driver did not turn on the YoGo meter and used his normal meter instead. The company does not claim responsibility for it or do anything to correct this. I had to pay extra and had no bills to show. The app malfunctions as well. The app works better when the driver uses the driver app instead of the meter. However, the prices have increased without notice since I started using the app.

availability is really high in tuks(almost as pickme/uber). price is more reasonable than pickme/uber. seems like they don't charge waiting charges for eachtime driver breaks more than five seconds as other apps but not sure they accumlate it once a treshold is exceeded. that screaming can be disabled from settings. no way to rate drivers. drivers don't have a app so they will call you for location
