Speaking clock is a free application. Using the app to give you voice announcements means you do not have to watch the clock to know the current time.
Currently, the first version of the application has a bundle of Vietnamese, English, Hindi, Japanese languages, and in subsequent upgrades the developer will add other language packs.

I liked this clock, til it was upgraded. Before I had the option to select the length of time between time announcements, but since upgrading, I only can choose only between hourly announcements or half hour or every 15 minutes. Before upgrading I could select right down to every 5 minutes, which helped me get to appointments on time. Now I have to find another app that gives me more time choices.

Adequate for speaking time without looking at phone, however, even if you set the time period you don't want it to speak, it continues to do so regardless. It's hilarious that it says "o'clock" AFTER the "am" or "pm"… clearly the developers' English is a second language ("Chose" is the selection for "Save" lol). Nevertheless, if you go into the system settings "App info" for this app and select "Unrestricted" in "Battery" it will pretty much do the trick you want it to. There are better options.

I love this speaking clock. Simple as it is, its amazing. However, l will you give 5 stars if you change speaking volume to maximum, overriding system volume and if you PLEASE add more speaking time intervals, that is 6 minutes, 8, 9 and 10 minutes. Grammatically, you can not say 11 am o'clock !! Remove o'clock please.
