PROX - Collaborative Security Application for the Population

Seeking to strengthen the relationship and promote social development in the communities surrounding hydroelectric plants, the PROX Relationship Program was created.

Since 2005, the Company has carried out a series of actions aimed at integrating with the communities in the areas of influence of the plants that suffer from periods of prolonged droughts or intense floods, in a relationship focused on enlightening the population. In addition to passing on information, this program welcomes demands from the population and establishes partnerships with local leaders, agencies and actors responsible for security and prevention of the effects of floods, such as Civil Defense, Fire Department and Military Police, in addition to the regional press.

Expanding the scope of the Program, the application aims to be another channel of information for populations influenced by the variation of river levels. Through it, it is possible to follow the operation of the plants, register their personal addresses and receive flood alerts.
